Microphlebectomy
For patients with medium to large varicose veins, microphlebectomy offers faster healing and better aesthetic results than sclerotherapy. Accomplished through tiny, precise 1.5mm openings in the skin, the incisions are nearly indetectable. The procedure takes only 15-20 minutes using local anesthesia, and most patients are back to work within one to two days. Even the most prominent veins are treatable with this method, and many patients have experienced extraordinary success at the Indiana Vein and Laser Center.
Varicose Veins

With varicose vein disorders, vein failure occurs within the valves, allowing blood to flow backward, causing congestion and enlargement of the vessel. Over time this can lead to swelling of the ankles and legs, skin breakdown, poorly healing wounds, severe pain and aching, and complaints of “heaviness” or “tired” legs. Treatment of the varicose veins must include eliminating the source of the failure to provide maximum results. There are many common questions about treatment, insurance, recovery, and more. If you don’t find answers to your questions, you’re welcome to call our office and schedule a free consultation.
